Oil in Africa

Published by wildcard20 at 12:54 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I’ve been writing a lot about Africa and wanted to share a quick story about Mohammed Babangida.  Mohammed Babangida is a Nigerian business man and serves as a special adviser to the Santa Isabel Petroleum Company which is a subsidiary of the China National Petroleum Company.

I’ve always been curious about Africa and their relationship with oil; I have felt for a long time that a major reason why America allows the catastrophes happen in Africa is because of their lack of oil investment in the country.  I came across Mohammed Babangida while I was doing research and became intrigued with the company he works for, Santa Isabel Petroleum.

Sadly, I could not find much information on Santa Isabel Petroleum, other than it is a great place to start a career.  I did come across the fact that China is doing everything they can to make inroads in Africa’s oil industry which should make things very interesting in the future.
